Is it expensive living in Scotland (Aberdeen) ?

I don't agree with Emma about Scotland not being as expensive as other parts of the UK. Your heating costs alone will be much, much more costly than for those living in the South of England. Aberdeen is on the East Coast and during the winter can be bleedin freezing. Cost of food is higher because of transport costs but cant advise on the cost of apartment as that can depend on which area of the city you choose to live in.
